Well, life changed again in our house. The work for Lane in the wake of IKE only lasted about 3 weeks instead of 3 months. This is good and bad. We obviously would have liked the monetary compensation 3 months would have entailed, but it is fabulous to have him home again.
So, now we are readjusting to life at home. Our goal is still to eliminate the need for me in the rental office so I can truly be a stay home mom. I am looking forward to that and am even intrigued by the ways I can help "make money" by saving money. I think 2009 will be my grand experiment to see how financially helpful I can be with no job!
